Any time now the baby birds should start to arrive in the gardens with mum or dad, to be shown the best places to fill up and please don’t forget, don’t feed whole peanuts as they can choke young birds. So, try peanut pieces or small bird food.
I have now started to see some butterflies coming into the gardens to feed on the flowers, Brimstones, Orange Tips, Hollyblues, small Tortoise Shells along with lots of Bees and Hoverflies, all good to help pollinate the flowers.
This year has been the best year for Daffodils and Tulips, ours have been superb and are now just going over.
The Hedgehogs are now back and feeding and I can’t believe how much food they are getting through, now I know why they are called Hogs!
The Foxes all look in fine condition and are also eating very well.
