Dear Reader
Thank you to all those who joined us for the New Year Lunch at Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club, it was a most enjoyable day and a great time was had all. The food was very nice, the entertainment from singer, Steve Dunnett, was really lovely and there was lots of dancing!
I do, as always, have an open-door policy and am available to see anyone who needs to talk to me any day of the week but to enable me to deal with the vast amount of admin work that is necessary to run the Centre, arrangements have been made to enable me to carry out this work. I will not be available on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. However, Julie will be available in the hall to deal with any queries or to take bookings, money etc.
Please could I ask you all to complete the Client Survey form being circulated. The information will be used to provide evidence to Hertfordshire County Council that the Hailey Centre is well used and needed in Sawbridgeworth. This information will support our annual grant application so the Survey’s need to be returned by 17th February.
Also, may I remind everyone to please sign in when entering the building and sign out when you leave. This is also evidence for Hertfordshire County Council of the number of people who use the Centre but more importantly would be used during any emergency evacuation of the Centre.
Please be aware that the Centre will be closed for teas on Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th February.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sue
